Project Details
ZEBEDEE serves two very different people. Players want a quick, fun way to see what they earned and cash out. Developers need a dense, precise dashboard for wallets, charges and API keys. Before the system, the same button looked three different ways, and every new screen started from scratch.
I built one foundation of colour, type, spacing and motion tokens, with two component layers: an expressive one for the wallet and a calmer, denser one for developer tools. Components were named the way engineers build them and documented with every state.
In the wallet, the balance comes first and send and receive sit right below it. Cash out became a choice between places people know, like Cash App, Coinbase or a gift card. The dashboard reuses the same balance pattern and marks each transaction as paid, failed or pending, so problems stand out at a glance.
Motion is part of the system too: loading, success, error and transitions follow the same rules in both products, so people always know something happened.
Things I Did
I owned the design system end to end and led the redesign of the ZBD Wallet app, which increased engagement by 40% and reduced drop-off by 25%. I designed the developer dashboard, from wallet and transaction views to charge, transfer, withdrawal and API key flows, along with ZBD Shield and the marketing site. The system made design and delivery around 50% more efficient and became the foundation for every product that followed. I worked daily with product managers and engineers, from early ideas to release.
